I met Noche just a few days after his arrival at the care center. His family sadly had been evicted! Noche was upset and hissed at me(and others). Being an intuitive guy, he calmed down as I was gifting him with treats. I thought then that there was hope for him. And I was right...Quiet for few more days, even a bit moody looking and accepting petting like to make me happy, Noche returned to his "home behavior" after a few more days. What a transformation! What a playful guy! What a love bug!(see his 2 last videos) I was so happy to see a happy Noche and now I can allow myself to dream of seeing Noche finding a wonderful family...So, what are you waiting for? Come to the Manhattan Care Center, meet Noche and take him home! Of course, like for any shelter pet who has lost their home, gentle and slow introduction to their new environment is key to success!
Noche has improved greatly since the first assessment and was sitting on the shelf, appearing calm and curious at the same time. He sniffed treats and came forward for petting. He enjoyed all petting, leaning in very hard for cheek rubs, almost rolling on his side. He is a sweet and affectionate cat. He was calm when picked up and held, even though the assessor was a little bit awkward about it, and then he remained calm and curious when set back down.
Noche interacts with the assessor, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 9.6lbs Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks
