Balderdash - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

Hello there! We are MAMA BABBLE & THE WORD SALAD BABIES!! Why do we have such a strange name theme, you ask? Well, it ties into my story, that's for sure. I was a stray living in a neighborhood in Nashville, and I had no choice but to get pregnant, because there's nothing else for us "un-fixed" cats to do out there, so that's what we do! I found myself alone, pregnant, and in a pretty unsafe area. I started scoping out places to give birth, and settled on a makeshift outbuilding, that was pretty run-down, but I made it work. I hid myself pretty well from the people, until I started getting hungry. Then I started making noise....cat noises, that those people couldn't understand. They heard me making my noises, but I didn't make sense to them. So I showed them my kittens, and then I saw the lightbulbs coming on in their brains. They knew we needed help, and quick. This family didn't speak English very well either, nor did they speak "cat", but they managed to get us to True Rescue, and even with all of the language barriers, we managed to get into the rescue and into a foster home. I'm one of the lucky ones, and that isn't lost on me, and never will be. I'm sweet, and I'm grateful, and I just want a family to love, and a family to take in my babies as well. They will be at PetSmart in Mt. Juliet, TN at the ADOPTION EVENT taking place tomorrow from 11-3. Like the other mamas, I'll be hanging back because I have a few ovaries I'd like to lose, so that this won't happen to me ever again.
