Meet Delightful Derek! Derek is around 4 years old, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is looking for his forever home!

This sweet boy is 17lbs and we are working to get his weight under control. He is currently on a special prescription diet (Hill's Science Diet Metabolic Food) and we are trying to get him to exercise more. We think Delightful Derek is perfect, but in order to live a happy, long life, he needs to become more active. He is looking for a home that will continue to help him in his weight loss journey.

Delightful Derek is as wonderful as his name might suggest. He is sweet and friendly, and an overall delightful companion. Derek welcomes visitors into his room with adamant headbutts and he will often attempt to demand treats. He likes wand toys, but he definitely needs to work on the amount of effort he puts into actually catching the toy.

Delightful Derek has made it known that he is not a fan of living with other cats. He would like to find a home where he can be the center of attention. We don't know how he would do with dogs. We do offer a seven-day foster period with every adoption to ensure it's a good fit for everyone.

If you would like to meet Delightful Derek, feel free to stop by any time we're open! Our operating hours are 2pm - 6pm Monday through Saturday. Dog kennels close at 5pm and adoptions end at 5:30pm!
