Duchess is a beautiful one-year-old girl with a gentle, graceful presence and a story that speaks to her resilience. This sweet stray found her way to a caring doorstep about five months ago, just in time to be taken in and safely welcome her kittens on February 22nd. With her soft, well-kept coat and bright, attentive eyes, Duchess carries herself with a quiet elegance. She’s wonderfully clean, faithfully uses her litter box, and enjoys keeping her claws busy on a scratching post. One of her favorite simple pleasures is lounging by a sunny window, peacefully watching the world go by.

Beyond her lovely appearance, Duchess is incredibly friendly and affectionate, always ready to soak up attention and share cuddles. She has a playful side too, especially when it comes to her favorite toy—little balls with bells that she happily bats around. Duchess has adjusted beautifully to her indoor life and clearly enjoys the comfort and love that comes with it. She can be a bit possessive at times, which just shows how deeply she bonds with her people and her space.
