Meet Dobby — a sleek and absolutely adorable black Domestic Short Hair mix with the most enormous, magnificent ears and golden eyes that glow like lanterns against that gorgeous dark coat. This precious boy was found as a stray on April 27th with no one to come forward for him, and he now waits in Kennel #644 for someone to recognize just how truly extraordinary he is. And yes — those ears are every bit as magical as they look.
 
At just 1 year old Dobby is right at the very beginning of his adult life, with so many wonderful years still ahead of him just waiting to be spent in a warm and loving home. Just like his beloved namesake, this boy has a heart that is enormous — possibly even bigger than those spectacular ears — and the person lucky enough to bring him home is going to be rewarded with a devotion and love that is truly something special.
 
Dobby is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of his vaccines, and he will be neutered prior to adoption — ready for the forever home he so deserves the moment the right person comes along. He came in off the streets alone with no one to speak for him, and the thought of this magical little boy spending even one unnecessary day without a warm and loving home is heartbreaking.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
