Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Los Angeles, California

Meet Gibson, a gorgeous, affectionate, smart, young house panther with a sleek shimmery coat, stunning chartreuse eyes and sweet disposition.

His rescue journey began back in early November when he showed up at our townhouse complex, hungry and wary of his surroundings. We suspect he was either abandoned or dumped in the area.

After an exhaustive search to find his possible family, he was taken to the vet for his neuter, vaccines and combo-test (FIV/FeLV = negative).

This boy was so friendly and loving from the onset and hops right up into your lap for cuddles... while kneading his front paws. He also gives kisses on your hand and chin, if you let him. Gibson does purr but it's not loud. I'm guessing the more relaxed and confident he becomes, the volume will increase.

Gibson reacts strongly to the presence of other cats so I'm not sure if he is needing more time to adjust or should be the only cat (pet) at home. My sense is that he was getting bullied during his short life on the mean streets. Overall, he's highly-social and would also do best in a home where he's not left alone long hours.

Gibson's adoption will include his:
