I’m Shuri — though my friends lovingly call me “Shoo Shoo.” I’m an almost-all-black beauty with the tiniest little white patch on my chest, like a tiny signature that makes me one of a kind. At just under 2 years old, I’ve grown into a gentle, loving girl who’s ready to finally find a forever family of my very own.

I can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new places, so I’ll need a patient home willing to give me time to feel safe and comfortable. But once I settle in, my sweet personality truly blossoms. I love giving soft kisses, curling up beside you on the couch, and quietly keeping you company during peaceful evenings at home.

I thrive best in calm, quieter environments without dogs, since they make me nervous. I do well with friendly cats and would also fit beautifully into a home with kind, respectful older children who understand that I may need a little time to warm up.

I’ve been deeply loved by my foster since I was only 6 weeks old after being found alone outside a Mexican restaurant. Because of that, this next chapter is emotional for everyone who loves me, but they know I deserve a forever home where I can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished forever.
