Cheese is an approximately 3-year-old female with one seriously big personality packed into a very small package. Found as a tiny survivor outside a convenience store, she weighed just 3.5 lbs at well over a year old — but don’t let her petite size fool you. This girl is playful, mischievous, and genuinely hilarious, and she has no idea she’s small.
Cheese loves children and gets along great with dogs. She does okay with other cats, though she tends to shine brightest alongside laid-back feline companions — her larger-than-life energy can occasionally ruffle more uptight kitties. She is endlessly curious and rambunctious, the kind of cat who will investigate everything, knock things over on purpose, and make you laugh every single day.
She is also quite vocal and has no problem letting you know when she’s feeling a little more independent. She’ll tell you what she wants, when she wants it — and honestly, you’ll love her for it.
Cheese does have chronic calicivirus, which means a little extra sneezing and the occasional booger situation. She has been treated with antivirals and antibiotics many times, and this is now considered her happy baseline. She simply needs a family who is ready to love a snotty, endlessly entertaining little cat — and in return, she will absolutely make your life more fun.
