If you're looking for a cat who seems to have somehow mastered the art of being the perfect companion, we'd like to introduce you to Merrimack.

At four years old, this handsome brown tabby found himself back in a shelter through no fault of his own. We can only assume his previous family experienced major life changes, because it's impossible to imagine anyone willingly parting with such a wonderful cat.

Merrimack is the total package: handsome, affectionate, playful, and incredibly well-mannered. His sleek tabby coat feels as soft as suede, and his striking sage-green eyes will stop you in your tracks. Every day, he greets people with bright-eyed curiosity, gentle little mews, and the sweetest kitty smile.

This charming gentleman loves being loved. Head bumps, soft purrs, biscuit making, and leaning into chin scratches are all part of the Merrimack experience. He isn't demanding, but he never says no to affection and is happiest spending time with his people.

Despite being an adult, Merrimack still loves to play! Wand toys and feather toys are particular favorites, and he'll happily show off his kitten side when it's time for fun.

Merrimack gets along well with friendly cats, cat-savvy dogs, and would likely do well with respectful children. He's an easygoing, adaptable companion who enjoys both wet and dry food and has a special weakness for Temptations Seafood Treats.
