Meet Hansel & Gretel
These adorable solid black siblings are as sweet as their story is special. Hansel and Gretel came to us as tiny kittens after being left with their siblings from a family who could not care for them. Since then, they've been showered with love—and it shows in their affectionate, playful personalities.
Gretel is the expressive one—she loves to “chat” and will happily tell you exactly what she needs. If she feels she's not being heard, she'll add a little drama (complete with a head toss and a long, theatrical meow ).
Hansel is a bit more reserved but is quickly learning from his sister and has started finding his own voice. He's gentle, sweet, and gaining confidence every day.
Both kittens love to play—especially zooming through their kitty tunnel, chasing toys, and exploring their surroundings. When they're not playing, they are total cuddle bugs. They've been lovingly “babied” and will happily fall asleep in your arms, soaking up all the affection.
They've been raised in a home with cats and dogs and get along wonderfully with both. In fact, their 60 lb Great Pyrenees foster sibling even grooms them like they're her own! They're also great with children and would fit beautifully into a loving family.
Hansel and Gretel are truly something special—playful, affectionate, and deeply connected to one another. If you're ready to welcome double the love (and a little bit of adorable drama ), these two are ready to fill your home with joy. They could also be adopted individually into a home with a friendly resident cat.
Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.
All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
