Mr Electric Blue, born approximately 5/28/2020, is a neighborhood celebrity, professional heart thief, and retired corner tomcat extraordinaire.

For years, Mr. Blue ruled the block with charm, confidence, and an impressive snack acquisition strategy. Known affectionately around the neighborhood as “the con artist,” this handsome blue gray gentleman perfected the art of politely visiting door to door, collecting meals, admirers, and a loyal fan club along the way. At a solid 13 pounds of “street weight,” it is safe to say his methods were wildly successful.

Originally trapped for TNR, Mr. Blue had other plans. Instead of acting feral, he spent his time rolling around in his trap asking for pets, making air biscuits, and campaigning aggressively for indoor citizenship. His message was clear. Retirement was calling.

Now safely rescued, this regal boy is catching up on years of missed comfort, stretching out in the air conditioning, enjoying uninterrupted naps, and discovering that life indoors suits him very, very well. From the very first head bump, Mr. Electric Blue has a way of capturing hearts. He is affectionate, grateful, and fully committed to making up for lost time.

Mr. Blue is FIV+ which likely came from surviving years outdoors, but you would never know it from his gentle personality. He would not hurt a fly and genuinely enjoys the company of other cats. He is more interested in friendship, snacks, and affection than causing any trouble.

After years of surviving outside, Mr. Blue is ready for his forever role as beloved house cat, professional cuddler, snack enthusiast, and cherished family member. All he wants now is a home filled with soft beds, full bowls, endless affection, feline friends if you have them, and humans willing to fall for his charming little scams forever.

Adopting from Sheets Pet Adoption is simple! Request an application, answer a few follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-greet. The application helps us guide you to your best match. If we do not have your best match, we can refer you to other great rescue groups.

Our adoption fee is $100 for each cat 6 months and older, $150 if you adopt two 6+ month-old cats at the same time. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an exit exam from one of our veterinarians before going home.

NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason.

Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
