Hi there, I’m Knox S., a sweet brown and gray tabby girl with an exploring, playful and sweet soul. I’m 2+ years old, and while life started out rough for me being rescued from being a homeless cat in Dallas, I’m so ready to leave those hard days behind and find a forever family of my very own.

These days, I’m safe in foster care where I’ve discovered just how wonderful indoor life can be. I love getting attention from my people, playing toys, exploring my surroundings, and finding cozy places to relax after snack time. I'm still finding my way with this new life — one minute I’m exploring or batting around a toy mouse, and the next I’m happily soaking up affection.

Even though I once had to survive on the streets, I haven’t let that dim my loving personality. I’m hoping for a home where I’ll always feel safe, cared for, and part of the family. I would do best as an only kitty cat.

I’ve been fully vetted and am ready for my forever home! I’m spayed, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, and current on flea prevention and deworming.

Every Saturday and Sunday, Frisco Humane Society hosts Adopt-A-Pet events at PetSmart located at 3333 Preston Road in Frisco, TX from Noon – 4 p.m. Different adoptable cats attend each weekend, and adoption counselors are on site to help you meet your new best friend!Interested in one of our cats/dogs? First step: Fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cat/litter), microchipped, and current on vaccinations.

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.

Meet some of our adoptable at the Frisco PetSmart Adopt-A-Pet center Friday-Sunday. Adoption counselors are available onsite at PetSmart most Saturdays & Sundays, 12-4 p.m. to conduct meet and greets and onsite adoptions.
