Meet Rackam! Aka Potato!
He was a kitten at SFC with his sister 3 years ago and was returned due to his owner moving. While we find that very unfortunate, we know that life always gives second chances, and we hope Potato can get his second, and better, chance at a good life. Weighing at 14.5 lbs., we know he apparently liked to eat these past three years. We are looking for someone who understands that even a couple pounds of being overweight for a cat can be very unhealthy for them. He only eats dry food, so a good quality low calorie food fed at set times during the day will be beneficial for him.
He does like playing with wand toys and even 15 minutes of activity a day can really help in getting him down a pound or two!
He is quiet boy and would do well in a home with a lower noise level to let his sweet personality shine. He is not fond of the resident dog, so a dog free home is best. He currently is bunking with a 16-year-old girl and finds her bed and cat tree by the window to be very comforting!
