Meet Our Sweet Talker, Mordecai! He was born in 2015.

Mordecai is a gentle 10-year-old senior who has already lived quite the life. Found as a stray—matted, thin, and exhausted from going without proper care for far too long—he’s now blossoming into the loving companion he was always meant to be.

Despite everything he’s been through, Mordecai’s spirit is bright. He’s incredibly affectionate with people and loves nothing more than curling up beside you for snuggles. He’s a wonderfully vocal boy, too—always ready to greet you with a soft meow or carry on a little "conversation" when he’s excited or curious. Mordecai is vetted and has excellent litter box manners.

Mordecai enjoys playing with toys, exploring cozy nooks, and soaking up all the love he can get. He isn’t the biggest fan of other animals and prefers a calm home where he can be your one and only. He may take a little time to warm up to new faces, but once he trusts you, he gives his whole heart.
