DESCRIPTION
Meet Salem! Salem has been quite nervous in care and has had a hard time adjusting to handling, but she’s starting to show promising moments of trust. With the help of Churu treats, Salem noticeably relaxes -- coming down to the lower level of her condo, showing bright eyes, forward ears, and a slightly more confident posture. Salem will do best in a patient, low-stress home that understands shy or fearful cats and can help her continue learning that people are safe. With gentle routines and positive experiences, this sweet girl has the potential to blossom.
If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
