Nova - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Elmwood, Louisiana

Hi, I'm Nova. A supernova is one of the brightest, most powerful explosions in the universe... and honestly, that feels pretty accurate for me. I may be tiny, but I burst into every room with enough personality, energy, and chaos to light up an entire galaxy.

I'm the kind of kitten who turns ordinary moments into adventures. Toys flying through the air? Incredible. Random zoomies at top speed for absolutely no reason? Essential. Climbing somewhere I probably shouldn't be? A scientific necessity. But after all the excitement, I'm also a total sweetheart who loves curling up close for cuddles and purring myself to sleep beside my favorite humans.

I'm curious, playful, affectionate, and impossible to ignore. Once I explode into your life, things are never quite the same again... just brighter, warmer, and a lot more fun.

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Please see the link above to apply.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 1 year - $300-$350
Adult dogs (1 - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350


Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $225

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
