Hi, I'm Louis -- your soft, cream-colored prince with a lot to say.

I love affection. No, really. I love it. If you stop petting me, I will politely (or not-so-politely) meow to remind you that you forgot something very important: me.

I'm a sweet, gentle boy who just wants to be close to my people. I'll follow you around, look up at you with my soft eyes, and chirp until you scoop me up or give me the attention I clearly deserve. I'm not shy about asking for love -- why would I be when it's my favorite thing?

I'm happiest when I'm being pet, talked to, or included in whatever you're doing. Folding laundry? I'll supervise. Sitting on the couch? I'm already there. Need a little emotional support? I specialize in that.

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Please see the link above to apply.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 1 year - $300-$350
Adult dogs (1 - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350


Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $225

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
