Meet Toast & Pancake – Bonded Siblings Ready to Flip from Shy to Snuggly
These adorable opposites from the same litter only have eyes for each other right now and must be adopted together.
Toast – the brave one
Curious and soft-spoken, she’ll let you pet her (with some skeptical side-eye) and watches people with big hopeful eyes. She gets excited seeing other cats and would likely bloom faster with a confident feline friend or her brother by her side.
Pancake – the fluffy biscuit
The shyer, fluffier one who stays in full loaf/pancake mode in his cubby. He’s never hissed or swatted — just quiet and watchful. With time and a safe space, he’ll turn into a 10-lb lovebug.
Key Info:
Petting: Toast (grudgingly yes), Pancake (not yet)
Picking up: Both tolerate gentle cuddles with patience
Other cats: They love watching cats and have only lived with them — a calm cat home and staying together will help them thrive
Energy: Quiet teens who wrestle and nap together — medium energy once settled
They need a calm, adult home with plenty of hiding spots, high perches, and no pressure. A quiet room to start in for the first few weeks would be ideal.
If you’re patient and want to watch two shy kittens gradually become confident, cuddly companions, Toast & Pancake will make it worth every gentle step.
Bonded pair — must be adopted together. Come meet these cute little introverts. It might take a few visits, but when they finally choose you, you’ll be hooked.
Visitors to the shelter are by appointment only and after a form has been submitted online:
