Not only does Sable have a great personality, but he is also a beautiful lilac color! He has very pretty light green eyes! Personality-wise, he’s super friendly, curious, and enjoys sitting on a warm lap.He’s looking for someone who wants a lap cat. He’d be happy to be your companion while you watch TV, scroll through your phone, or work. He is a very comfortable, confident kitty and will adjust quickly. He will happily explore, engage with people, and settle in wherever the action is.Sable is being fostered with his buddy, Obi. They would love to go home together, and then you will have two lap cats! Plus, having a buddy will help him get out his kitten energy! Priority will be given to someone adopting both Obi and Sable. They are a great pair – as long as you are okay with having two kitties on your lap!Sable would be good with kids or a dog (with proper introduction). He is about 6 months old, litterbox trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.Please come meet Sable and Obi – you won’t regret it! He’s fostered in Broomfield. Sable’s adoption fee is $150.**Only applications with resident cats and/or applying for Obi and Sable will be considered.**

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for kittens (6 months & under)
$150 for cats (older than 6 months)
$100 for senior cats (8 years or older)

Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
