Meet Caddy, a quiet sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of love to give. She may start out a little shy, but once she feels safe, her affectionate side shines through. Caddy enjoys a mix of dry food throughout the day and a little wet food as a treat, but sheâ€ÂTMs not picky and is happy to adjust to your routine. Sheâ€ÂTMs also perfectly litterbox trained and a very tidy houseguest.
What makes Caddyâ€ÂTMs journey extra special is that sheâ€ÂTMs being fostered as part of our “Cat Dorm†program, where select cats provide emotional comfort and companionship to young women in a juvenile detention center. Caddyâ€ÂTMs calming presence helps teach empathy, patience, and responsibility to the teens who care for her -- a beautiful reminder of the impact animals can have on people and vice versa.
Caddy would do best in a calm home with someone whoâ€ÂTMs willing to give her the time and space to come out of her shell. If youâ€ÂTMre looking for a sweet, mellow companion and love the idea of giving a cat with a meaningful story her next chapter, Caddy might be your perfect match.
