Hi there, I'm Yellow Fins, handsome orange tabby gentleman, born approximately 2/11/2018. I was found outside as a stray and brought to safety. I do have a microchip, and everyone tried very hard to reach my registered owners, but no one came for me. So now I'm ready to start a brand-new chapter, one where I'm truly cherished.
I'm a very sweet, affectionate lovebug. When I'm happy (which is often!), I'll reward you with a loud, rumbling purr, and sometimes I'll even give your hand a few gentle licks to show my appreciation. I love head pets, chin rubs, and Churu treats, those are absolutely the way to my heart. I also enjoy playtime and will happily bat around toys and have a fun little romp. I'm quite the talker, too! You'll hear all about it when it's mealtime, or when I think it's time for one of my favorite things -- adventure. Because I spent time outdoors, I discovered just how exciting the world can be. Open doors spark my curiosity, so keep an eye on me! I would truly flourish in a home that can offer me safe, supervised outdoor experiences, like a secure catio or even harness training so we can explore together. I'm an adventurous spirit at heart, and having that outlet makes me a very happy boy.
Now, I do have a few quirks. I'm not a fan of having my feet touched (who is, really?) and when I'm feeling unsure or overstimulated, I might growl or try to give a little nip to let you know I need a break. I'm not trying to be difficult, I just need someone who understands my signals and helps keep things calm and positive. Other cats aren't really my thing either, so l'd prefer to be your one and only. I think I'd do well in a family with older respectful kids, or even a doggie buddy as long as you follow Wild Blue's introduction procedures. I'd do best in a home that can give me steady affection, respect my boundaries, and let me settle in at my own pace while also giving me the safe outdoor enrichment I crave. Underneath it all, I'm a loving, talkative, affectionate boy who just wants to feel safe, adored, and included in your daily life (and maybe your outdoor adventures, too).
