Meet Scooter!
Scooter is a charming 18-year-old senior cat with a heart full of love to give. Despite his age, he's incredibly sweet and affectionate, always ready to snuggle up for a cuddle. As a senior, Scooter needs a bit of extra help to stay comfortable, requiring a home that understands his needs and can provide the proper care. He's looking for a compassionate companion who will cherish him, offering a warm, supportive environment where he can enjoy his golden years. In return, Scooter promises to fill your life with endless purrs, gentle head boops, and unwavering companionship until the very end.

This senior pet is mostly doing well. As expected for an 18yr cat, he has some signs of arthritis, and some indication that his heart function may not be normal (abnormal rhythm). So far, our initial screening tests/ exams do not indicate any other serious dysfunction-- though only limited tests have been performed so far.

To keep Scooter comfortable in his senior years, he has been started on arthritis medication (gabapentin/ meloxicam) that you will need to follow up with your veterinarian to continue after adoption/ and/or discuss alternative methods to keep Scooter comfortable in his Golden years!
