Meet Big Boy! 🐾
Big Boy’s story is proof that sometimes the cats we think are meant for life outdoors have other plans.
Originally trapped, neutered, and returned as part of a TNR program, Big Boy seemed content living outside—until he started showing up at his foster’s door, trying his best to come inside. Just before a storm rolled in, his foster decided to give him a chance, and it turned out to be exactly what he needed.
Not long after coming indoors, Big Boy began acting strangely and developed a noticeable facial droop. A veterinary visit revealed the culprit: a severely abscessed tooth. After dental surgery and a course of antibiotics, Big Boy made a full recovery and has been feeling better than ever.
Now this handsome tabby is enjoying the good life indoors. He’s a laid-back, gentle guy who absolutely adores other cats. In fact, he’s currently serving as a foster dad to a group of kittens, happily supervising and keeping them company. He takes his role very seriously!
Big Boy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines through. He’ll greet you with leg hugs, affectionate rubs, and quiet companionship. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t demand attention but is always happy to be near his people.
Big Boy is looking for a loving indoor home where he can continue to enjoy the comfort, safety, and friendship he waited so long to find. If you’re looking for a mellow, kind-hearted companion with a soft spot for other cats, Big Boy just might be your perfect match. ❤️🐱
