Howdy, it's Nellie! Nellie is a real rough and tumble Texas gal. She's a hard workin' mama cat that's ready to kick back and put her paws up. You may only hear but a small peep out of her- Nellie's a soft-spoken doll that will chirp and give you soft eyes and a curious tall tail when she's lonely.

Nellie is used to the wild west and likes to take her time when warming up to new folks. You may spot her big eyes and tucked paws perched on a windowsill observing her surroundings. She'll keep a watchful eye on all of her kin, cat and human alike. Nellie prefers to keep her cowgirl face on, so it takes some sweet talking to get her to relax. Once she feels comfortable enough to play and give affectionate head bumps, you'll feel like the clouds have parted and the sun shines for only you. Nellie's energy is stronger than Saloon whiskey!

Nellie would be best suited for a home with a cat-experience person/people. She's ready to blossom into a warm companion kitty with some patience and tender encouragement. We have seen her nurturing side when she raised her kittens. All she needs is to build a little trust with her fellow humans and she'll revert to her true tenderhearted self. Nellie would prefer to be your one and only fur baby. We also see her doing best in an adult only home, or older children that understand she needs a little warm-up time.

She's a free-spirited cowgirl! She'll give you her best howdy, or, "meowdy!"
