Jesse is a handsome medium-haired black cat with a heart as big as his fluffy coat. After showing up as a stray, he has quickly proven that he loves people and is more than ready to leave his wandering days behind.

This sweet boy is always happy to see his humans and has mastered the art of the affectionate head butt. If you’re sitting nearby, don’t be surprised when Jesse comes over to gently bump his head against you, asking for pets and reminding you that he’s available for attention.

Jesse is very alert and observant, always keeping an eye on what’s happening around him. Whether he’s watching birds outside a window, supervising household activities, or investigating the sound of a treat bag opening, he likes to stay informed.

While Jesse is incredibly friendly, being picked up is still a bit unfamiliar to him. He would much rather keep all four paws on the ground while enjoying pets and companionship. Given time and patience, he may continue building confidence, but he’s already a loving and devoted companion just as he is.

And one thing Jesse knows for certain? Mealtime is serious business. This boy loves his food and never misses an opportunity for a good meal.

This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.
