Olive (FIV positive) - Domestic Medium Hair and Tiger Cat for Adoption in Sanford, Florida

OLIVE (FIV POSITIVE)

Domestic Medium Hair, Tiger
🇺🇸
Sanford, Florida
June 8th
female, small, young

DESCRIPTION

Olive is a gorgeous 2 year old girl. She came to the shelter as a stray and would love a new home to call her own.

Olive is a special girl, she has FIV. This is a species specific disease that can not be transmitted to humans and other animal species. FIV is mainly passed to other cats through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during aggressive fights and territorial disputes. Cats with FIV can live a long, happy life. Olive should be an INSIDE ONLY cat, be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet, have regular vet visits and be seen promptly if a medical issue arrises.

Olive weighs 5 pounds, is up to date on shots, and is already spayed, so he can go to her forever home the same day she is adopted.

To learn more about Olive or about FIV, reference her ID #546305, contact Diane Gagliano at 407-665-5208 or DGagliano@seminolecountyfl.gov

ABOUT: TIGER CAT BREED

Tigers are majestic wild cats known for their distinct orange fur with black stripes, powerful build, and stealthy hunting abilities. As the largest of all cat species, tigers are solitary animals that primarily inhabit forests and grasslands in Asia. They are apex predators, preying on a variety of animals with their sharp claws and teeth. Sadly, many tiger subspecies are endangered due to habitat loss and poaching, highlighting the importance of conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures.
