Moonpie is a fluffy black-and-white gentleman with a soft coat and an even softer heart. Estimated to be born in May 2022, this handsome boy was rescued from the streets of Hyattsville, Maryland by a kind 4 Paws volunteer working in the area. Now safely indoors, Moonpie is learning that life can be full of comfort, kindness, and love.

After spending time surviving outside, Moonpie is still adjusting to his new world. He can be a little shy at first, taking time to observe and make sure he feels safe. But underneath that cautious exterior is a very friendly and gentle cat who truly wants affection. He will happily come over to his foster for pets and attention, and each day his sweet personality shines a little brighter.

Moonpie is the kind of cat who will reward patience with trust and love. As he continues to settle into home life, his foster believes he will blossom into a wonderful companion. His calm nature and quiet sweetness make him especially endearing, and there's something extra special about earning the affection of a cat who's discovering safety and security for the first time.

Moonpie is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and negative for FELV/FIV.
