Are you a dog lover and a cat lover and torn as to which one to get? How does a “two in one “sound? Look no further than this awesome guy right here! Meet Leo the Lion!
This guy has continued to “WOW” his foster family since the very first day he was humanely trapped and brought into his foster home. He was a known stray in an area for 3+ years with a “bad boy - Tom cat” reputation. When he was finally trapped, it was assumed he would be feral. But to everyone’s surprise, bad boy “Leroy Brown” became the sweetest cat in the whole dang town! And so....the name change.
This cat is truly the coolest around. He became an instant love bug and wanted to be close to the people as he could, as well as all the other pets. Look at this guy‘s man cheeks! Don’t you just want to squeeze them? Well, the good news is, he will encourage that! He loves to be loved on. He loves to go outside with you. He loves to hop in the vehicle in the hopes of going for a ride.
He has the loudest purr you’ve ever heard, and he will alert you to strangers entering your property if he can see out a window by growling. This guy truly has his signals crossed as he believes he is part dog. But Leo the Lion possesses all the cool cat features at the same time. He is a very social cat. He is even a social eater and loves to eat food in the company of others. He will be active when you want him to be and will curl up with you and rest when it’s time for that as well. He takes his cues from the people in his world as to whether there is a need for stranger danger. All people welcomed in his home are welcomed by him as he truly has no shy tendencies once they come inside.
Leo will need very little introduction/warm-up in his new environment. He is great with the other cats in his foster home as well as the farm animals that surround him, including chickens, rabbits, and goats. Since he loves other cats so much, he must have a kitty friend in his new home. He has not been exposed to a dog, but we are sure with proper introduction, he will pass that test with flying colors. He loves all people, including men and children. This guy really is a rare find for being a rescue, and we are so excited to find a home where he can be a lover and protector to a family of his own. We want him to live his best life so having a nice yard to explore and spend time with his family is a must! He is estimated to be 3-5 years old. He is in Palmer. Please call 907-350-8089!
