Winter is a stunning young adult female with a soft cream and lynx-point coat, striking blue eyes, and luxuriously fluffy medium-long fur. She came to us as a pregnant stray and proceeded to raise a large litter of beautiful kittens with quiet confidence and devotion - proof that this girl has a big heart in a pretty package.

Now that her babies are old enough and have found their forever homes, it's Winter's turn too. Winter is the kind of cat who wants to be part of your life - not just a pet in the background. She'll station herself in the middle of your craft project, drape herself across your homework, and park herself nearby with the energy of someone who has very Important Things to supervise. She's curious, calm, and endlessly charming.

She also has a lot to say. Winter is a wonderful conversationalist - she'll chirp, trill, and chat back when you talk to her, making her an ideal companion for anyone who likes to narrate their day to a willing (and opinionated) audience. She takes her role as household commentator very seriously.

Winter's is not a velcro cat - she won't be in your face or demanding your lap but she loves being brushed and scratched and patted. She just wants to be wherever you are! Settle in to watch TV and she'll curl up nearby. Work at your desk and she'll find her spot within arm's reach (but let's be "real" she may lay across your laptop keyboard and need encouragement to move elsewhere:) Winter loves to share your space which makes her a genuinely lovely presence for people who appreciate a companion that's close but not clingy.

Winter does seem to have a preference for the women in her life. She warms up quickly and fully to female family members, while she tends to be more cautious and reserved around men. This isn't a dealbreaker in a mixed household - she simply takes a little more time to extend her trust to the guys - but she would likely thrive most in a home that is all-female or where the primary caregiver is a woman. Despite everything she's been through, Winter holds no grudges. She's gentle, adaptable, and has proven she can thrive in a busy household. She'd do wonderfully with children, other cats, or anyone who appreciates a cat that is fully, unapologetically present.
