DESCRIPTION

** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**

This little darling is, Fluffy Butt. This sweet little girl has an approximate birthdate of 3/13/26, so she's just 8 weeks old. This tiny little girl and her siblings have been with us since they were just 4 weeks old, but now that they are getting a little bigger, they are on the prowl for their loving forever home. This adorable crew has been lucky enough to spend time in foster care since coming to us, and that is where they currently reside. Each day is a fun-filled adventure for them, and they have an absolute ball, running, playing, jumping and wrestling with one another. Since this sweet crew has been handled a lot, they are well acclimated to people and love to snuggle up with them almost as much as they love snuggling up with each other. All three babies are total social butterflies and you can't go wrong adopting any of them. Fluffy Butt's foster mom says that she is a little bit shy at first but warms up quickly, and also loves to be held and snuggled. As this little cutie's name would suggest, she is a fluffy girl and she will end up with a long, thick coat. Her coat will require lots of care and brushing to keep it mat free, so please keep this in mind if you are considering adopting this cutie. It would be IDEAL if these little cuties could be adopted in pairs, or with another HSMC kitten. Kittens adopted in pairs do SO MUCH better than kittens adopted alone. They are better adjusted and socialized, less "bitey", generally happier, plus no one can play with a kitten the way that another kitten can. Trust us when we tell you, you don't want a Kittenzilla loose in your home! Look up, "Single Kitten Syndrome". It's a real thing and it's REALLY no fun for people or the kitten. Plus you save two lives instead of one! Being so young, these tiny little guys would do just fine in a home with other kitties, or cat-friendly dogs. Care must be taken to protect their tiny size from being stepped on, sat on, hurt by a larger animal, or unintentionally injured by young children. Would you like to meet a couple of these cuties, and maybe another HSMC kitten too (we have several!)? If so, please complete an application and schedule a meet and greet once your application is approved. Remember that this cute crew resides in a foster home and not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled!
