Harry is a sweet and adventurous boy with a fluffy white-and-gray coat and an adorable gray patch on his chin that looks just like a little beard. Curious by nature, Harry loves exploring his surroundings and investigating every new nook and cranny he can find. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels safe and comfortable, he happily leans into cuddles and gentle pets, soaking up all the affection he can get. You can often find him perched high on a cat tree, carefully watching everything around him before heading off on his next little adventure. Harry is highly food-motivated and never turns down canned food, Churu treats, or an exciting wand toy session.
Harry’s journey is one of incredible luck and second chances. He and his siblings, Potter and Hermione, were originally trapped as part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, where community cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, and then returned to the area where they were found. At only 8 weeks old, Harry, Potter, and Hermione were scheduled to be returned to life on the streets immediately after their surgeries.
But fate had other plans. During their short stay at the clinic, the three kittens captured the heart of a volunteer who knew they deserved more than a life struggling to survive outdoors. Just before they were set to be released, The Dancing Cat was able to step in and save them. Instead of being returned to the streets, Harry and his siblings were given the opportunity to experience safety, love, and the chance to find forever homes.
You may notice that Harry has a tipped ear his long hair hide it well. An ear tip is the universal sign that a cat has been through a TNR program. For Harry, it serves as a reminder of just how close he came to being returned outside. His ear was tipped during surgery because everyone expected he would be released back to the streets. At the time, no one had stepped forward for Harry, Potter, or Hermione, and their future seemed destined to be life outdoors.
Thankfully, before that could happen, The Dancing Cat was able to intervene and give all three kittens the second chance they deserved. Today, Harry is safe, loved, and discovering that the world is full of adventures that don't require surviving on the streets. Now he’s looking for a forever family to share his curiosity, his cuddles, and all the adventures still to come.
Because Harry has grown up alongside Potter and Hermione and has never known life without them, he would absolutely love to be adopted with one of his siblings. They have been through every step of their journey together from being trapped as tiny kittens to getting their second chance at a better life. A home where Harry could continue his adventure with Potter or Hermione by his side would truly be a dream come true. â¤ï ̧
Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop!
Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.
This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
