Rasputin has entered the chat
Rasputin was trapped for TNR a month ago, but he was clearly not thriving outdoors. His hair was completely matted and he just looked like he was giving up. Rasputin had never been seen in the colony before being trapped. Under anesthesia, his hair was trimmed and it appeared that he had some sort of skin infection. He needed extra time to heal.
Rasputin's caretaker offered to give him an extended recovery, and she discovered he was friendly! We got him in the vet for a secondary check-up, and it appeared that his skin was ok. Rasputin just wasn't doing well trying to fend for himself outside.
Rasputin is decompressing hard. His foster witnessed the moment he knew he was safe. Rasputin has become friends with fellow foster cat Tank. They are totally bro-ing together. Rasputin loves affection, attention and FOOD! The best part? Rasputin has started to groom himself now that he has stability.
Rasputin is so deserving of having a home to call his own. He's very cat and people friendly, and we can't wait to see his glow up once his fur grows back in.
