It breaks my heart to write this, but I need to find a loving home for my sweet boy, Niko. I have to sell my house and move out of state this month, and unfortunately I cannot bring him with me. My greatest hope is to find someone who will cherish him during his golden years.

Niko is a 14-year-old indoor-only cat with a calm, gentle nature. He is the definition of a quiet companion—a true "Zen kitty." He enjoys spending his days napping, soaking up affection, and bringing a sense of peace wherever he goes.

His favorite things include:

Chin, head, and back scratches
Climbing onto the bed to playfully chase your hand under the blankets
Playing with a Cat Dancer toy (sometimes he'll even jump up to catch it!)
Taking long, cozy naps

Niko has lived with another cat for most of his life and would likely be fine with a feline companion. That said, I think he would truly thrive in a quiet home where he can be the center of someone's attention. He has also been gentle and tolerant with visiting neighborhood children.

Because he's a senior, Niko isn't a high-energy cat. Instead, he offers something special: comfort, companionship, and a calming presence. He's the perfect match for someone looking for a sweet, low-key friend to share their home with.
