Domestic Long Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Pear is named after her gorgeous light green eyes! She came to Furever Home Animal Rescue as a stray, picked up by one of our volunteers in Southeast DC. She is approximately 1 year old, spayed, and UTD on vaccines! All of our kitties who are spayed/neutered come microchipped as well.

Pear is a social girly and would love someone who can cuddle, play, and be home with her fairly often. She hasn’t had an opportunity for slow introductions to other cats or dogs and proper introductions are extremely important, so we think she would do okay with other animals with plenty of time to get used to them and her new surroundings! She is a little shy at first but quickly turns into an absolute cuddle bug.

Pear is living with one of our fosters with an elementary school-aged child and does great with the kiddo!

She came to us with some scratches on her head that didn’t require any treatment and are healing well with the fur growing back.
