Tepee is a fluffy, adorable cuddle bug who will make you feel loved and make you laugh regularly. He came to the Alliance after living outside in the community in a large cat colony for (we suspect) the entire first 7 months of his life, so he can be a little shy at first - but once he comes out of his shell, you are guaranteed to fall in love with this quirky dude. He loves playing with string/wand toys, loves to rub all over you, even your legs as you walk, and has become a total lap cat. Although he has been known to sit still on laps and relax, he mostly flops around in order to maximize pets and human contact. He may be a little overstim at times, can be a total goofball, and has impeccable litter box habits!

Unfortunately Tepee has FeLV (feline leukemia), a feline specific disease (not transmittable to other species including humans and dogs), so while Tepee would LOVE feline siblings, he should only be around other FeLV+ cats. We don’t know about his experience with dogs, but we suspect after slow, thoughtful introductions, he may really enjoy a calm, cat-friendly dog sibling. Tepee would be perfectly fine as an only pet child, as long as his human(s) spend quality time with him.
