Belladonna 55894 - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Eaton Rapids, Michigan

Ms. Belladonna is a gorgeous, young, long-haired female cat from the Bell's hoarding case that SBZ took in a few months ago. She was one of the youngest cats out of that group of 30+ cats that came in, but unfortunately, she was not socialized at her old house. Belladonna has been in a foster home for a few months. She has warmed up to humans and allows pets (and enjoys pets and starts to purr and melt into your hand) when she's tired from playing or lounging in her cat bed. Since she came from a hoarding situation, her biggest ask is that she is around other cats! She has two adult male cats in her foster home currently, and she plays constantly with them. She has never met a cat she wouldn't play with or try to snuggle with. She had not seen toys before she came to her foster home. Now, she couldn't live without them! She plays so well with wand toys each night when her foster mom brings them out to spend time with her. She is very treat motivated, so her foster mom gives her many dry treats on the floor, and she will come right to her and allow a few pets before dragging off her treat. She does enjoy being around humans, and she will "chirp" at you when she's in her play time mode.

This sweet girl has really made a big impression on her foster mom, and we are hoping an adopter is willing to take a chance on her and continue working with her to socialize her. We don't want to give up on her and have to place her in a barn home. Her adopter would need to have other cats in the house so she would feel comfortable and understand that she will need time to adapt to her new surroundings. She doesn't seem to mind dogs at all, In fact, they are just another creature she would probably curl up next to if she had the opportunity.
