Murray was a stray in my neighborhood. I had trapped him thinking he was feral. However, he is anything but!! He is the sweetest cat I have ever fostered. He loves cuddles, pets, butt scratches, belly rubs, being brushed and head butts as well. His name came from me calling him Mr. Purry because he purrs so softly but, he likes to rub all over you and be close to your face, you can hear it. Murray can be playful too. He loves playing with toys like feathers on a string, scrunchy sounding balls and such. Anytime I go into his room, he is waiting so patiently. He does not try to run out when coming in or when I leave. He has no problems with men or children. I will say he was a bit standoffish with my 5-year-old granddaughter but he let her pet him and was not aggressive at all. Just seemed to have rather lay down away from her as opposed to being right next to me or my husband. Murray is FIV positive. He has been separated from cats and dogs so a slow introduction would be necessary.
