female, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Stormy is a 1-year-old female Bengal cat that came in as an owner surrender on 05/01/2026.

Stormy is a young Bengal cat surrendered due to a 6-7 month history of inappropriate urination in the home. The previous owner reports multiple veterinary evaluations with no underlying medical cause identified, and behavior was suspected. Various environmental modifications were attempted, including pheromone diffusers, litter changes, and additional litter boxes, but the behavior persisted. Stormy is described as very playful, kind, and affectionate in the home, with generally good behavior toward adults, children, and other cats. She eats Royal Canin and has a medium energy level, with a social and interactive personality when not stressed.

At intake, she was noted to be very friendly and handled well, with a clean physical exam aside from ear mites, for which treatment was initiated. She received standard intake care including vaccinations and parasite treatment, and is now medically stable. Stormy is fully litter trained in previous reports but has ongoing litter box avoidance behavior that appears stress- or behavior-related rather than medical.

She would do best in a calm, consistent home experienced with feline behavior, especially cats who may have litter box sensitivities or anxiety-related habits.
