Tawnie is a stunning one-year-old girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for her people. She’s the definition of a “Velcro kitty,” always close by, happily soaking up attention and companionship. If you want a little shadow following you from room to room, Tawnie will take that job very seriously.

She’s also quite the chatterbox and will gladly “talk” with you throughout the day. Mealtime is a highlight (especially if wet food is on the menu), and she never says no to a good play session with feather toys—or a sprinkle of catnip, which she absolutely adores. And yes, she enjoys a solid round of butt scratches… when she decides it’s time.

Tawnie can get along with some cats, but she’s easily annoyed and prefers to be the star of the show. She would do best either as an only cat or with a laid-back companion who doesn’t mind letting her take center stage. She should also do well with respectful children who understand her boundaries.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion with a little sass and a lot of love, Tawnie is ready to steal your heart.

Adoption and Transport Details:

Tawnie is currently located in Houston, TX.

Available for adoption with transport to the PNW, Colorado, and the Northeast (some restrictions apply).

Sorry, we cannot adopt out in NH, RI, or ME.

Transport is included in the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is $400 in most states, and $500 in Massachusetts to cover required quarantine costs.
