American Shorthair Cats Available for Adoption in Beaverton, Oregon

Meet Marlo, a sweet, fluffy gray and white kitten with the most soulful blue eyes you've ever seen. This little gentleman has a voracious appetite—both for kitten pâté and for playtime.

He spends his days playing hard and soaking up all the cuddles he can get. Marlo is also wonderfully vocal, especially when he's ready for dinner or wants to be picked up for some love. He's not shy about letting you know exactly what he needs.

ADOPTION FEE: $250

* We do not allow same-day adoptions. * This is because we want our adopters to consider the commitment of owning a kitty. We are also a volunteer-run organization. We do not always have someone available to process the adoption agreement and medical records at the time of the in-person meet and greet. Thank you for understanding! Our goal is to process adoptions within 24-hours. If you have scheduled a meet and greet, you can help expedite the adoption process by sending us your walk through video of your home to our email address adoptions@mariospaw.org. Thank you!

What is covered in our adoption fee?

Mario's Paw felines come: Microchipped, Spayed/Neutered, FIV/FELV tested, UTD on age-appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, and flea-treated. * We do not permit any feline to be adopted without receiving a spay or neuter surgery. *

In addition to the above, your adoption fee helps us cover supplies, admin costs, and vet bills that arise with all of the kittens that come into our care. We take in many medical cases that require extra surgeries such as eye enucleations and amputations, specialist visits, and imaging. Because of the adoption fees, we are able to bring in more medically needy felines!

If you are interested, our adoption process consists of:
- a submitted application
- meet-and-greet in-person
- video walk through of the main areas of your home
- feline medical records sent via email
- signed adoption agreement
- application fee submitted via Zelle
