Quail Birds Available for Adoption in Burlingame, California

Hey there, I’m Samwise! I’m an adult, male Japanese Quail looking for my forever home! I’m a bit quiet and reserved at first, but love to eat some mealworms and greens! I would be a great first-time quail, or could go to a home with at least 3 female Japanese quails. My ideal enclosure would be an outdoor, predator-proof hutch with plenty of places to hide and some additional heat when it gets cold. If you’d like to take me home, bring in a picture of your enclosure and ask for Samwise ID# A0981975Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
