Mischief & Tomfoolery - Goose Bird Available for Adoption in Lincoln University, Pennsylvania

Meet Mischief & Tomfoolery! 😈✨ They are a bonded pair of young Chinese geese that found themselves cruelly abandoned at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown, PA. Mischief is a female Brown Chinese goose, and Tomfoolery is a male White Chinese goose. They are estimated to be around 1 year old. Together, they are true lovebirds. Tom is highly devoted to protecting Missy and has a true gander personality: loud, boisterous, and confident. Missy is more mellow and passive.

Their forever family should be prepared for Tom to take his job seriously as Missy's protector, though he is easy to handle when necessary and never causes any real trouble. This pair would be fantastic "alarm geese" as the Chinese breed definitely lets you know when someone is approaching or something is happening! They have completed a full quarantine and tested negative for parasites. Transport is available almost anywhere to a responsible home!

ADOPTION CRITERIA:

As flightless domestic geese, Mischief & Tomfoolery need a safe and secure area (such as an aviary or run) during the daytime when not directly supervised. During the nighttime, they need a fully enclosed coop to be safe from predators. We also ask that our adopters have access to an avian veterinarian in case of illness or injury. No pond? No problem! Domestic waterfowl do much better with kiddie pools that can be scrubbed and refilled regularly for their health.

Nowhere near Pennsylvania? Also not a problem! We do long-distance transport for loving waterfowl homes regularly. Please still get in touch and fill out an application if you'd like to be the lucky adopter of a rescue goose!

For new waterfowl caretakers, or experienced flock guardians, we provide support and guidance for life. Please adopt so that we have the space to rescue another one in urgent need!
