Want to adopt a pet from the Humane Society of Mid Michigan?
HSofMM houses all adoptable pets in foster homes and not at one location.

All canines will be up to date on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested, microchipped and spayed/neutered before going home. Check out our pet adoption process below...

Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis with an approved application and a pet meet and greet. Adopters can save time by printing our adoption application from our website at and filling it out prior to arrival.

Learn about our adoptable pets... Interested adopters can email us or call us to schedule a meet and greet appointment or if they have any additional questions about any of our adoptable pets.

What to bring with you: • Driver’s license or state ID card. (All adopters must be 18 years or older.) • Veterinary records for any current pets or pets owned in the last three (3) years OR provide vet’s phone number. • Any canine family members: dog-to-dog meetings between your current dog(s) and potential new canine family members are highly recommended and in most cases required.

Meet our available pets.... This is a great time to ask any questions you may have. Then, you can spend time with the animal or animals you are interested in! Most pets are able to go home same day.
