We are a Vermont based rescue who focuses on pulling dogs from Southern shelters that are often over capacity. These southern shelters often have no choice but to euthanize otherwise healthy dogs simply because they are out of space. By pulling dogs we save the dog we pull, and a dog we make space for. We are careful to vet each dog and provide any health care needed before allowing the dog to be adopted. We also do our best to accurately learn each dog's personality and comfort levels with other dogs, cats, people, children, new situations, and etc.
We are a very small group of volunteers doing our best to find great homes for great dogs.

Description
Policies
Thanks for considering a rescue dog! Whether you are interested in a specific dog we have available, or you're just looking for a dog that fits your family, please email us with questions. Our adoption fee is $450 for puppies 10 months and younger, $350 for puppies over 10 months and adult dogs, or $250 for senior dogs and includes all vetting, spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping. Our email address is MapleLeafMutts@gmail.com
You can access our adoption application https://www.jotform.com/MapleLeafMutts/adoption-application
Our rescue is foster based, meaning each of our dogs lives with a foster family until an adoptive family is found. For this reason, we prefer to have an approved adoption application before arranging an introduction to a dog. We do try to have several adoption events throughout the year where you can meet a group of our available dogs before submitting an application. Follow us on Facebook for more information about our adoption events.
