A nonprofit organization dedicated to the identification, rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of neglected, lost, surrendered or otherwise homeless Rhodesian Ridgeback Dogs in the United States.
Policies
Our rescue, Ridgeback Rescue of the United States (RRUS) is a volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and rehoming of surrendered or mistreated Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We take the rescue, fostering, rehabbing and rehoming of these Ridgebacks very seriously. We take pride in making sure the right dog gets the right family as their forever home.
RRUS applicants must be screened and a home visit must be completed. Also, it is RRUS POLICY that all humans and animals who currently live in the house meet the dog where it is currently being fostered. Our dogs are a big part of choosing their adopters. Also, an applicant must personally pick up the dog from the foster home.
