Steps to Adopting:
Generally, the steps are application, personal interview/s, home visit and reference checks, then if you are approved, execution of a detailed adoption contract, payment of your minimum expense reimbursement, free training for the adopter, and the dog joining you. (Dogs require pre-adoption visits to get to know the adopters before the big move.)
